IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER

Montgomery Co PWSD 1 Failure to Meet Lead & Copper Rule Monitoring Requirements for Drinking Water

Este informe contiene informacion muy importante sobre su agua potable. Traduzcalo o hable con alguien que lo entienda bien.

We are required to monitor your drinking water on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards. During a recent compliance period, we did not monitor or test as required and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.

The violation is due to turning in 19 samples for testing, when there should have been 20 samples. The bottles are provided to the District by the DNR and we drew samples for all the bottles delivered to us.

What should I do?            There is nothing you need to do at this time.

The Table below lists the monitoring we did not conduct, how often we are supposed to sample and how many samples we are supposed to take, how many samples we took and when the samples should have been taken.

What happened? What is being done?  The sample bottles are supplied by the Department of Natural Resources. Assuming the correct number of sample bottles had been delivered, we drew samples for all bottles and submitted them to the state for testing. This violation has nothing to do with the quality of the water tested but the quantity.
